Walk along the Ficuzza stream and lunch in the vineyard: a unique and original enogastronomic itinerary
A day spent between wine and nature, a combination that strongly characterizes the Daino winery. An excursion to discover ancient mills, along the Ficuzza stream almost along its entire course, walking through the woods.
Program
During the walk we will encounter ruins of ancient water mills and admire a rich vegetation of cork and holm oaks with a dense vegetation formed by butcher's broom, shreds breeches and horse's tail.
We could also bump into porcupines, hares, wild rabbits, weasels and foxes along the way. Different species of birds can be observed including the jay, the great spotted woodpecker, the pendulum or the kestrel.
At the end of the excursion we will arrive in the vineyard to enjoy together a lunch based on typical local products, paired with our excellent organic wines: Suber, Ilex and Cistus.
